Summary:

ARISTOTLE is a demonstration project where a novel 4.2MW tidal energy farm will be designed, deployed, and operated in Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland. This unique project consists of an array of 10 PLAT-I platforms, each equipped with 6 horizontal axis turbines and anchored with shared Rock Anchors, a system that has been installed at the unit level in Nova Scotia, Canada, since early 2022, where it is grid connected and generating 420kW.

Results:

The proposal was submitted, and the consortium is now awaiting the result of the evaluation.
