Technical Due Diligence (TDD) on a wave-making technology for a surf pool.

Summary:

The main objective of this project was to conduct a thorough TDD to allow our client to make well-informed decisions and create a comprehensive plan for managing costs and mitigating risks of the analyzed technology throughout the project lifecycle.

For this purpose, a technical analysis was made involving: Hydrodynamic aspects behind wave generation, propagation, and absorption; Mechanical behavior of the static and moving components of the specified technologies; Operation and Maintenance (O&M) considerations; energy consumption; environmental and sustainability concerns; risk matrix.

Results:

A highly detailed report highlighting the advantages and potential flaws and risks of the technology against competition. A preliminary CAPEX and OPEX was estimated.
